CSW Foundation tackles a critical challenge in India – the lack of accessible and affordable eye care in rural areas. Through our impactful Free Eye Care Camps, we bring high-volume, high-quality, and low-cost eye services directly to underserved communities. These mobile clinics address the significant backlog of avoidable blindness, reaching those who might otherwise lack the resources or awareness to seek proper care. We provide free screenings, essential treatments like cataract surgery, and crucial information about preventable blindness. We actively educate participants about the importance of good eye health, including dietary habits rich in vitamins A, C, and E, beta-carotene, zinc, lutein, zeaxanthin, and omega-3 fatty acids. CSW Foundation understands the importance of a seamless experience. We facilitate transportation for cataract surgery patients, arrange post-operative care and lodging if needed, and even capture photos of patients post-surgery to commemorate their regained sight.
